No but it's the best sushi in the Jackson area hands down.
Yes
Great service. Large selection of specialty rolls. Delicious.
Best sushi place not in Jackson, not in Mississippi, not in the South, not in the county, not in the northern hemisphere, not in the world, not in the solar system, not in the galaxy, not in the universe or multiverse, but the best sushi place to ever exist in any reality or dimension. Titan roll, but have a DD because it will put you to sleep. I've said enough.
Hands down the best sushi place in Jackson Metro Area!
Great little family Japanese restaurant where the food is incredibly fresh and the service is outstanding. Really recommend just about anything on the menu but by all means consider the sashimi supreme
This is one of Jackson's best kept secrets when it come to Hibachi. Its has a small intimate vibe. The food is really good and the portion amount is more than enough. A must try! Perfect for a casual date night.
Amazing sushi! So fresh and delicious; will be back.
People and Food-Fantastic...!
I was extremely impressed by the taste and presentation of my meal. The sushi was delicious. The wait staff had knowledge of the menu and made two excellent recommendations! 5/5. I will be coming back if I move to the area.
Nice, small quiet place to eat great fresh sushi and best meals that’ll make sure you come back for more!
I ordered the hibachi shrimp lunch special. The price was reasonable and food was delicious. It came with miso soup, salad, and the food pictured below. My lunch partner got 4 sushi rolls and loved them all. I think I just found a new lunch stop.
I have been enjoying sushi at Edo since it opened as Haru many years ago. Always has been great affordable food, and the family feeling service makes it even better. I wish they had a better location, but then the prices would probably go up.
I enjoyed this restaurant! The sushi was fresh and service fine. The interior space is rather small but didn't negatively impact the food or experience at all. I'll be returning soon! Eight months later and it's still DELICIOUS!! No complaints... Nothing but praise! The Fantasy Roll and Pink Cadillac Roll were both great!! Upgrading to 5 stars. I'll be back soon!! Y'all should meet me at the bar...
Best sushi in Jackson!
As always good service and good food. Love the lunch specials. 2 rolls for $9 or 3 for $12 with soup and salad.
I would definitely rate the food as 5 stars. The taste is incredible. I have had both the sushi and the udon and I was not disappointed. The sushi rice was soft and tender with generous amounts of fish. The udon has a good blend of noodle, rice, vegetables, and shrimp/chicken. The miso soup has far more flavor than other Japanese places. I am giving it 4 stars because I believe it to be over-priced for what you get. They have $13-14 rolls in the menu that should not be more than $8-10 and the same goes for other rolls as you move down the menu. The other Japanese entrees suffer the same setback. Too pricy for what you get. The taste and quality are great but it’s going to hurt your wallet and leave you feeling like you should have gotten more for what you paid. The restaurant is in a strip mall, but it appears to be clean on the inside. The staff is friendly although the sushi chefs love to hit that bell too often.
Edo is a hidden gym. I would have driven right by this place, had several close friends not recommended it. But, once I went inside I was not disappointed.
As always the food wad great and the staff very friendly and helpful. A great place to dine.
Excellent service and exquisite food. The waitress Amber was very informative!!! I recommend you get her.
Only our second time to try Edo, once for lunch and dinner. The fried snapper app was great, our sushi was very good. The staff was friendly with relaxed and efficient service, very enjoyable.
Love this place!!! Great food!
Best sushi in Jackson! The staff are friendly and super efficient. The only downside is the smallness of the parking lot.
This is a small out of the way place one could easily drive past for years and never notice it and that is a shame! It is a hidden gem because their fare is always outstanding for a solid comfort food Japanese meal. I always find the dishes well prepared, tasty, satisfying and spot on for everything I expect. This seems like a neighborhood go-to and a real family owned business. (If you happen to arrive during the day for lunch, you may even see two cute elementary age girls doing their homework at one of the tables, which actually is something that adds a bit of charm to the place.) My wife and I like this quiet, calm atmosphere to stuff ourselves with pure abandon! This place definitely gets five stars for food, great service, and chill neighborhood atmosphere.
Super service, delicious food, wonderful people. Highly recommended!!
Delicious food, fantastic price, nice atmosphere (tho they do play a lot of Celine Dion,) and awesome service! I eat here as much as possible!
Hibachi seasoning was the best I have ever had. Sushi was great. Wonderful service.
One of my family’s favorite restaurants. The location is not great, but the food and service is very good.
I visit this location once a week and on yesterday I was treated so badly that I vowed to never return. I called to place my order for lunch, the same order I place every week and this time my order was taken by the owners daughter who is no more then 12. She entered my order in wrong and when I arrived to pick it up she saw who I was and knew that my order was wrong. She always opens the containers to make sure everything is correct but this time she hurried to place it in a bag. Something told me to check my order, and it was wrong. I informed her that my order was wrong and she became really upset and stated that it was my fault that my order was wrong. I asked her how was it my fault? When I call I don’t even have to say what I want, you know my order by heart. I asked to have it corrected and she said no. So I asked for a refund and she became irate at this point. She yelled to never call or come back ever again. So her wish is my command.......
My wife and I visited this restaurant and the food was very tasteful and satisfying! This is an exquisite place to eat! I certainly was pleased with our waitress Renee. She is a phenomenal waitress and very informative, she made certain we had everything on time! I highly recommend you get her when you visit, they should promote her to a manager.. She is terrific!! Great customer service as such and delicious food would definitely keep you running back for more. We will be visiting soon.
The consistency and deliciousness of the food is hard to believe but they never disappoint
Always love eating here! The sushi is absolutely the best in town. The warm towels they bring on arrival to warm and cleanse your hands smell wonderful. Miso soup is always fresh and warm. We always order the dragonfly roll and try something new as well. Spicy salmon roll is really good as well.
Excellent food. Decor needs updating, but everyone is super friendly. Order the Edo Special Salad. It's our favorite and I have to get it now and then. They now have sake and wine.
Great food, great price
Good food at a good price.Lunch specials are excellent. My wife and I stop here whenever we are this side to town to eat.👍
The best service you will find.. Real authentic Japanese cuisine.
The staff is very friendly and the food was great. They do need to update the place - it's a little dated and dingy
The staff are very friendly and the food is good.
Delicious, Salmon and Rainbow in particular
Best sushi in Jackson! I've been to every sushi restaurant in a 40 mile radius, and this my friends, is simply the best. Tucked away off Ridgewood Road, through the doors you are welcomed into a warm, clean environment, with friendly staff and a mesmerizing menu of options. I love their no rice rolls, and they need a few more: WE DIG IT! THANK YOU, EDO!
Been eating here for many years and always good with great customer service.
Out of all the sushi places I've tried around the Jackson metro area, Edo has the best, most consistent sashimi at an affordable price. I've frequented this place several times and have yet to be served sashimi that is not fresh with the "fishy" odor (knock on wood).
One of the few places in town with good uni and Toro. Also our regular wait person, Susan, is always helpful
Great food though it can be slow sometimes.
The best sushi in Jackson, possibly MS. The service is always great and the food is consistently exceptional.
This place is a great hidden gem. The restaurant is very clean and the service is outstanding. I have enjoyed sushi at many restaurants over the years and this place is one of my favorites. Had lunch at Edo based upon many recommendations! Lunch was reasonably priced and all items were very fresh and the presentation was awesome: simple and colorful! The Seaweed & Squid salads were fantastic! Will eat here again!
Superb food! Great date night spot!!!
I didn’t get the chance to go inside due to Covid. Edo has an awesome curbside window set up to limit contact, and all staff were wearing masks. I ordered edamame, a house salad, and tuna sashimi. The tuna was out of this world! Super high quality, sushi-grade tuna, beautifully cut. And this is from someone who works in seafood and sells tuna to Japanese restaurants. Wasn’t expecting to find such high quality fish in Jackson!
I love that they include pictures for every roll! Wonderful service and a great sushi selection
The main dish they serve is sushi, and from someone with not a huge liking for it; it was good. The staff and owners are very friendly and inviting. It isn’t too busy either. The musical ambiance and the nice decor also ads to the overall environment. Disclaimer: it may look like a run down 3-2 star restraint from the outside, but don’t be fooled or discouraged by it.
Great customer service and awesome food. This is one of the best Japanese restaurant in Jackson metro area. I think it's a bit inexpensive as well when compared to similar restaurants. Don't let outside fool you it's a low key hidden gem. Must visit.Owner should try to upgrade outside appearance a bit to match service and food.
This was a really enjoyable dining experience. The service was great, they offered complimentary miso and a pickled cucumber salad as a an appetizer, plus they brought watermelon after the meal. The rolls we got were huge! So, for $58.00, we got a crawfish springroll, 4 sushi rolls (we got the lobster roll, the cambodia roll, the magnolia roll, and the poboy roll and all were delicious!). The rolls were really big, 6 to 10 pieces each, so there were lots of leftovers. Best of all, i was enjoying the music they played during the meal and when i inquired who the band was, they gave me the CD to take home. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone for a great meal, great value, and great service.
